Why it holds

TMP uses the tools Apple built for managing iPhones. A Block isn't a switch you can flip back.

  • Not in Settings

    During a Block, TMP can't be removed in Settings. Turning off Screen Time won't end it.

  • Runs over the internet

  • Honest about limits

    It isn't impossible. Erasing the iPhone removes TMP. That takes long enough for the urge to pass.

    Back up and plug in

    Make an encrypted backup. Then connect your iPhone to a Mac with Apple silicon using a USB cable.

FAQ

Does setup erase my iPhone?

Yes, once. Apple requires it. Photos, contacts and messages return from iCloud.

What do I need?

A Mac (Apple silicon) and a USB cable, once. Intel and Windows coming later.

How long does setup take?

About 20–30 minutes. After that, unplug. You won't need the Mac again.

Can I undo setup?

Yes. Restore the encrypted backup you made before setup. That removes TMP.

Can I end a Block early?

Not easily. During a Block, TMP can't be removed in Settings. Erasing the iPhone removes it, so it isn't impossible.

What if my iPhone is offline?

Blocks start and end over the internet. If your iPhone is offline when a Block ends, apps return when it reconnects.

Can I block websites?

Yes. Add sites such as reddit.com to a Bundle. Apple's built-in web filter blocks them in Safari.

What can TMP see?

Your installed apps and whether TMP is installed. Not your messages, photos or browsing. Read the details

How do I sign in?

With Google today. Apple, email and phone sign-in are on the way.
